The platform in focus is an Australian job board tailored for tradespeople, which ensures employer verification through ABN authentication and validates the qualifications of tradies. It features a completely automated verification process, leveraging registrations with both the ABN and USI registries. This system is prepared for a nationwide roll-out, with extensive data on qualifications and locations. The platform maintains a strong social media presence on various networks and offers additional resources for tradespeople and business owners, including downloadable content. Moreover, it operates a paid advertising system catering specifically to Registered Training Organizations (RTOs). From an operational standpoint, the platform allows job seekers to freely create detailed portfolios that highlight their experience, qualifications, certifications, and past work through a gallery. Additionally, a reference system is available to vouch for their work. Employers can establish profiles and purchase credits to access advanced features like job postings, sponsored listings, posting renewals, and a "Find a Tradie" feature, which facilitates direct contact with selected job seekers. Credits are offered in various packages for potential cost savings, and job listings are active for 30 days, gradually moving down the board. An algorithm assesses applicant strength, allowing employers to set specific constraints such as qualifications and experience to filter candidates. For technical integration, the platform uses tools that ensure efficient code updates and deployment. It employs a payment processor for transactions and integrates with a financial management system to streamline operations.
